Blockchain enthusiasts face many challenges when verifying the online claims of projects. Very often they will stumble upon fabricated profiles listed as team members or advisors. To make matters worse, some misleadingly include renowned public figures who have no real affiliation to the project.
SpringRole has partnered with ICODashboard, the leading token sale management platform, to solve this problem. The platform will integrate SpringRole’s blockchain-powered professional verification and attestation protocol to eliminate fake profiles. An Advisory Verification feature will allow real team members and advisors to verify each other on the blockchain, giving ICODashboard users more trustworthy information.
This feature is already at work on the SpringRole platform. For example, advisor Mike Jones’ profile lists the company as an Advisory Position. By clicking on the verification link, any user can see that the claim is confirmed on the blockchain. Verification is also visible on the front-end of the website, where advisors are listed in the about us section. In the second row, three out of four advisors are verified.
To get started, visit the SpringRole section on the platform, or follow this link.
SpringRole is a California-based project, which is building an attestation protocol for a verified professional profile on the blockchain. SpringRole users can create a verified professional profile using decentralized attestations for their work and education which gets directly written to the blockchain. SpringRole uses reputation based weighted endorsements to convert skills from a subjective parameter to an objective one. SpringRole also supports other pieces of the professional ecosystem like job boards, graph search etc. which are enabled via dApps that rely on incentivizing users to use the platform. SpringRole will change professional networking as we know it and will bring online professional identity to the blockchain world.
