As the Rio 2016 Olympics concluded a few weeks ago, the world saw some of the best and elite athletes on the planet vie and compete for top honors in their respective fields but now, the paralympians are showing their skill. One of which was the 1500m where athletes gave their best to get a podium finish.

But as the Paralympics are underway and the 1500, for the visually impaired have been concluded, one fascinating observation was made by people. First, take a look at the winners as Henry Kirwa finished third in the race with a time of 3:49:59 from Kenya

Tamiru Demisse from Ethiopia then finished second with 3:48:59

Algerian Abdellatif Baka bagged the top spot getting gold with a time of 3:48:29

If you noticed the time of the three paralympians, they were all faster than Matthew Centrowitz’s time. Just think of it, if any or all of these athletes joined the Olympics, they would still be coming home with bronze, silver and gold despite their disability.
