In the Olympics, Nick Willis secured the bronze for New Zealand with a time of 3:50:24

He was followed closely by Algeria’s Taoufik Makhloufi with 3:50:11
Matthew Centrowitz Jr. of Team USA took home the gold with a time of 3:50:00
But as the Paralympics are underway and the 1500, for the visually impaired have been concluded, one fascinating observation was made by people. First, take a look at the winners as Henry Kirwa finished third in the race with a time of 3:49:59 from Kenya
Tamiru Demisse from Ethiopia then finished second with 3:48:59
Algerian Abdellatif Baka bagged the top spot getting gold with a time of 3:48:29
If you noticed the time of the three paralympians, they were all faster than Matthew Centrowitz’s time. Just think of it, if any or all of these athletes joined the Olympics, they would still be coming home with bronze, silver and gold despite their disability.
