Karl Malone showed how big his heart is for the selfless members of the National Guard – specifically those who helped with the Louisiana flood relief.

Malone saw Staff Sergeant Doug Sevier and 4 members of his team while at Wok-On’s Bistreaux in Baton Rouge. He thanked them for the service and offered to pay their tab. He even went to get a couple of cigars from his car to share with the guys.

As a native of Lousiana, Malone wanted to show these guys how grateful he felt. He used to play for the Louisiana Tech. He is actually one of the esteemed alums of the school. In fact, the school’s court was named after him – Karl Malone Court.
