The list of 2015 Veterans Day restaurant deals below shares some of the well-known restaurants showing their appreciation of our military veterans this year. There are, however, other dining establishments across the country with Veterans Day discounts and freebies. Make sure to check around your local community to see if your favorite restaurant is participating this year.

Important Info About 2015 Veterans Day Restaurant Deals

The Military Wallet pointed out the following important information to pay attention to prior to enjoying some of Veterans Day 2015 discounts and freebies.

Proof of Military Service. Most companies require some form of military ID. These include: a Military ID Card (active/reserve/retired), VA ID card, Current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), Drivers License with Veterans Designation, Photograph in uniform, wearing your uniform (if your service permits), Veterans Organization Card (e.g., American Legion and VFW), DD214, discharge paperwork, or other form of identification. Note, there is a New Federal Veterans ID Card coming soon. Other restaurants and companies may go by the honor system.

Participation. Second, always call ahead to verify locations, times, and participation. Many of the listed companies are franchises and may have different policies. We will do our best to keep this page updated as we find new info.


2015 Veterans Day Restaurant Discounts and Freebies

Applebee’s – Veterans and active duty military receive a free meal from a limited menu, on November 11.

Bob Evans – Veterans and active military personnel receive a free breakfast from a select menu on November 11

Carrabba’s – All active and retired veterans receive a free appetizer at participating locations on Monday, November 9th through Sunday, November 15th.

Chili’s – Veterans and active military service members get a free entrée from a limited menu on November 11.

Denny’s – Active, inactive and retired military personnel get a free Build Your Own Grand Slam on November 11, from 5 a.m. to noon at participating locations.

FATZ Cafe – FATZ Cafe salutes our Veterans and Active Military with a free entrée on Veterans Day. On Nov. 11 from 11 AM to close present your Military ID and enjoy a free world famous Calabash Chicken meal.

Friendly’s – Friendly’s is treating veterans and active military to a free breakfast, lunch or dinner from a limited menu on Veterans Day, November 11.

Golden Corral – Golden Corral Restaurants’ Military Appreciation Night free dinner will be available on November 11, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Military retirees, veterans, active duty, National Guard and Reserves are all welcome.

IHOP – On November 11, participating IHOP Restaurants offer veterans and active duty military free Red, White and Blue pancakes from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Little Caesars – Veterans and active military members receive a free $5 Lunch Combo from 11:00a.m. to 2:00p.m. on November 11.

Longhorn Steakhouse – Receive a complimentary Texas Tonion appetizer and a non-alcoholic beverage on Nov. 11. Includes veterans and current service members

O’Charley’s – Veterans and active duty service members get a free $9.99 meal on November 9, as well as free pie on November 11.

Olive Garden Free Meal – On Wednesday, November 11, 2015 all veterans and military active duty will receive a free meal including entrees, freshly baked garlic breadsticks and a choice of unlimited soup or salad

On the Border – Veterans and active duty military can enjoy a free meal from the “Create Your Own Combo menu” on November 11.

Outback Steakhouse – All active, retired military and veterans get a Free Bloomin’ Onion® and a beverage on Veterans Day. Must have valid identification. There is also a military discount of 15% off the total check from November 12th thru December 31st, 2015, valid for military members and their families.

Red Lobster – Service members past and present receive a complimentary appetizer or dessert from a special menu. Proof of service required. Valid Monday, November 9 through Thursday, November 12, 2015.

Shoney’s – Shoney’s will offer a free All-American Burger to veterans and active duty service members on November 11.

Spaghetti Warehouse – From November 9 through November 11 buy one entrée and get the second entrée free. Coupon required.

Texas Roadhouse – Texas Roadhouse locations nationwide will offer veterans a free lunch on November 11 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Offer is good for active duty, retired or former U.S. military.
