X-Men Apocalypse (2016)

Released just this year and proved that 2016 is still the year of the sequels.  It narrates about En Sabah Nur, an ancient mutant who woke up in 1983 and planned to wipe out the entire human civilization.  Of course, the good ol’ X-Men will prevent him from realizing his evil plan.

Captain America: Civil War (2016)

The sequel to Captain America: The First Avenger and Captain America: The Winter Soldier

In this third installment of the Captain America movie franchise, the Avengers were split into two opposing sides. Moviegoers really had a fun time deciding which side to choose; Steve Rogers or Tony Stark. So which side were you on?

Captain America: Civil War (2016)

Deadpool (2016)

This is one movie which proves that superheroes can be funny too.  This movie was lauded because of Ryan Reynolds’ in your face performance, black humor, script and dialogue; along with signature Marvel action scenes.

Deadpool (2016)

Ant-Man (2015)

Released in 2015 and is based on a Marvel character of the same name

In this film, Steve Lang is recruited by Hank Pym (the previous Ant-Man) and passes on his dwindling Pym particles technology (the suit) in order to save the world from Darren Cross, Pym’s protégé who’s out to release a similar technology (the Yellowjacket) and unleash it’s power for warfare.

Ant-Man (2015)

Fantastic Four (2015)

Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)

This is another superhero team from Marvel Comics

The cast is virtually a Who’s Who as it starred Vin Diesel, Glenn Close, Zoe Saldana, and Chris Pratt to name a few famous stars involved in the movie yet most of them aren’t easily recognizable due to makeup, prosthetics, costume, and special effects.

Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)

X-Men: Days of the Future Past (2014)

This is the 7th installment of the X-Men movie franchise. This sequel is fascinating as it involved two time periods; one of which is Wolverine’s time travel back to 1973 to change the future in order to prevent a future occurrence which will spell eternal doom for both mutants and humans.

X-Men: Days of the Future Past (2014)

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014)
